& Body feature on what activities women can safely do during
their period and what should be avoided. Mary Pullig Schatz, M.D.,

Basics and renowned yoga instructor, suggests that women avoid
doing certain yoga poses while menstruating due to the associated
health risks.

result in heavier

conditions, it
could cause
fainting,
